Dosbox mouse not working2/3/2024 ![]() I’ll have a dig around and see if I can find a solution. if I touch the left side of the screen, the cursor moves to the left, and if I touch the right side of the screen, the cursor moves to the right). I have this same problem on my Surface Pro - when in fullscreen mode, all touch input is interpreted as relative motion from the center of the screen (e.g. ago Generic Gamepad Issues 1 1 r/gaming Join 1 yr. ![]() 1 Reply More posts you may like r/SteamLink Join 1 yr. In fact, you can find a very, very similar problem described by Quietust back in 2014 on this thread: I believe the way to do it is to set the cores emulated device type to keyboard, then back out of that menu and go right back in and it will refresh to where you can cycle through the keyboard keys to map them onto your gamepad. You’ll find platform specific patches for these on things like Android, and the OpenPandora console, which fix these problems in specific cases. When it comes to things like Multi-Touch, a generic Linux build of either will probably be a total trainwreck. Notices Welcome to, a friendly and active Linux Community. Having a problem installing a new program Want to know which application is best for the job Post your question in this forum. Things like DOSBox or ScummVM in fullscreen will usually glom onto mouse input and try to handle it in their own way. Mouse Movement Problem in DOSbox Linux - Software This forum is for Software issues. ![]() What you describe sounds fairly typical of these applications, and isn’t a problem with NOOBS, or the Touchscreen, but rather with the individual software and how it handles input. I’m familiar with both of these, since I’m a bit of a fan of Commander Keen and Simon the Sorcerer to name but a few- I was a bit late to the DOS game, admittedly. So, if you want to use in Unit圓d, open Unit圓d now.Ahoy, sorry your post got a little lost in the noise of the Touchscreen FAQ. You can do this by going to System Preferences > Keyboard, going to the Keyboard area, and checking the 'Use all F1, F2, etc' box. This way, at least now you can move the pointer that was stuck initially in one place with your pc controller. Start Windows again (your mouse pointer should be visible now) and then run setup from inside Windows to choose the Tseng drivers. Now, open JoyToKey and map your keyboard keys, like w,a,s,d or up, down, left, right and left and right mouse clicks, including middle mouse roll, and mouse movement axis (what you use to move a mouse, I mapped mine on my controller analog sticks to move pointer around) onto your PC controller. To fix this go back to the DOSBox prompt, change dir to the Windows directory ('cd windows'), run setup again and then choose the VGA or SVGA drivers that come with Windows 3.1x. I would suggest JoyToKey, it works perfectly. So, plug in your PC controller of whatever external device you want first, then download a free program called JoyToKey or something similar. The best thing to fix this problem is to actually use an external device, such as a PC contoller with analog sticks. The mouse cursor outside of VirtualBox became stuck in one place (because I disabled it) and the new mouse pointer in VirtualBox becomes invisible. This happened to me too when I disabled mouse capture.
